About the seminar:
The stated vision of the Experiment Station (ES) is to provide a good environment for research in a timely and cost-effective manner. In 2011, ES increased its service rates substantially—a move that some might say does not exactly support the vision—to reflect what the services we provide really cost us. We have since then sought and found a range of ways to increase efficiency and thus enable us to reduce the cost of these services. What makes up our cost structure? What have we done to reduce it? What more can we do?
