Room A, D.L. Umali Auditorium, IRRI

Abstract:
Single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) markers have become the preferred choice for marker-assisted selection in breeding programs because of their abundance, biallelic nature, and the availability of high-throughput, semi-automated platforms. This seminar will introduce the process of SNP marker development and applications of SNP marker in plant breeding.
